Furniture Designer
Kelly Wearstler is looking for a highly motivated furniture designer and product development engineer who has 5+ years experience in a luxury furniture design industry. This candidate must have a strong design foundation with an elevated sensibility to materiality and design details especially when it comes to fabrication. The designer will work closely with the Director of Furniture on many company-wide projects ranging from our furniture collections, to hospitality design, to producing one-of-a-kind furniture for residential projects. He/She will be involved all phases of the design process from initial sketch ideation to creating a working drawing set for manufacturers and then through the product development phase.

Duties Include:
- Designer will assist the Director of Furniture in meeting all furniture and product development deadlines.
- Strong ability in hand sketching.
- Creating detailed and thorough orthographic furniture drawings in AutoCAD.
- Utilizing Sketchup for quick 3D renderings to determine scale and proportion.
- 3D renderings in Podium and/or Keyshot for creating realistic images showing design details and materiality.
- Work with interior design teams to create and finalize, thorough and accurate furniture drawings for their projects.
- Responsible for keeping a detailed and up-to-date production schedule for weekly production meetings for both internal design team and outside vendors.
- Vendor correspondence and coordination.
- Weekly outside vendor visits within Los Angeles assisting the director in overseeing product development and production.
- Assisting production team in following through on client orders and reporting to them weekly.
- Ability to execute quality control inspections with a critical eye for client furniture orders.
- Manage and maintain design assets and archives to maximize efficient location and retrieval by KW staff.
- Material library organization as well as keeping of track of sample inventory.
- Coordinating the production of new material samples for interiors and furniture development projects.
- Assist with coordinating logistics pertaining to product development and production.
- Create Excel and shared google doc spreadsheets for furniture specifications and market orders.
- Strong work ethic and excellent presentation skills.
- Highly organized with a good work ethic and lots of energy and great attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in furniture design and product development.
- Demonstrate expertise in AutoCAD.
- Possess versatility, conceptual/visual ability and marketing and branding knowledge.
- Portfolio showing innovative design solutions.
- Strong Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office.

Senior Interior/Architectural Designer

Interior Designer
Kelly Wearstler is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Designer who works well independently and with teams. The Designer will assist the design team with overseeing and managing long-term, high-end residential and hospitality projects from concept through procurement and installation.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- 4-6 years experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school of interior design or architecture.
- Responsible for developing finish, appliance, hardware and plumbing schdules.
- Assist with preparing client presentations.
- Tracking, ordering, and processing purchase orders and maintaining budgets for multiple vendors and clients.
- Sourcing and overseeing bespoke furniture design, fabrics, lighting, art, and finishes.
- Create detailed FFE specifications. Assist with creating drawing sets, in coordination with the senior designer and architect.

Project Architect/Interior Designer
Kelly Wearstler Design is looking for a talented Architect or Interior Designer with luxury, hotels, restaurant and high-end residential experience to join our talented team. The ideal candidate would be a creative, self-motivating and meticulous individual that is willing to embark on amazing projects and a rewarding professional experience.

Duties Include:
Exhibits understanding of the firm's design philosophy.
Project Leadership on Interior Design, including lead of in house team, Project consultants, and Client.
Exhibit strong communication skills with relation to client interaction.
Ability to produce complete construction drawings.
Coordinate with outside consultants and vendors.
Have a good understanding of interior finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and F, F & E schedules and budgets for hospitality and residential projects.
Proficiency in millwork detailing and specifications and reviewing shop drawings

Highly proficient in Autocad and Revit.
Minimum of 4-5 years of professional working experience.

Sales Associate
The Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales by offering an exceptional luxury experience in the Flagship Boutique for clients. The Sales Associate will also go out to visit local designers and residential clients to bring the Kelly Wearstler experience to the clients office or home.

Duties include:
- Be an expert on all products including how product is made, how it is maintained, how to customizes, etc.
- General knowledge of the requirements needed in design projects
- Generate and maintain relationships with clients
- Prospect new accounts
- Meet and exceed personal, territory and company sales goals
- Introduce clients to new collections
- Present new collections and coordinate corporate/vendor visits

Outside Sales Associate
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for growing revenue within his/her territory, creating the superior experience that clients would expect from Kelly Wearstler. The sales rep would bring the experience of the Kelly Wearstler Collections out to the client by setting up appointments and presentations with both contract/hospitality and residential design firms, creating a partnership with our Los Angeles Flagship Boutique in order to drive business in. This position is remote but will have regular access to our LA Flagship.
We are currently looking for sales reps in the following territories: West Coast (Los Angeles), Mid West (Chicago), Northeast (New York), Southeast (Miami).

Duties include:
To Include, but not limited to;
- Be an expert on all KW products including how product is made, how it is maintained, assortment offerings, etc.
- Knowledge of the requirements needed in design projects
- Develop new accounts in the hospitality, residential and contract markets
- Identify growth opportunities including high potential customers
- Maintain superior relationships with clients
- Meet and exceed personal, territory and company sales goals
- Keep accounts up-to-date on new product and offerings

Interior Design Intern
Kelly Wearstler is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Design Student who works well independently and with teams. The Design Intern will assist the design team with high-end residential and hospitality projects. Current Internships are for school credit only.
Internships may include work in all phases of design: Planning, Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation.

Duties include:
- Assist with creating detailed FFE specifications, Sourcing and overseeing bespoke furniture design, fabrics, lighting, art and finishes.
- Creating 2D and 3D rendering proposals and preparing for client presentations.
- Assist with tracking and processing purchase orders for vendors and clients.
- Communicating with vendors, manufacturers, and retailers.
- Assist with finish, appliance, hardware and plumbing schedules.
- Maintenance of material finish library.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Interior Design or Architecture Program. Junior and Senior level students are preferred.
- Strong AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office skills required.

Graphic Design Intern
Kelly Wearstler is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Design Intern who works well independently and with teams. Get mentoring and first hand experience in all aspects of visually representing a brand, with particular emphasis on blogging and social media.

Duties include:
-Assist with designing for web and print, basic web coding, retouching and strategic marketing.
- Generate compelling content for our robust social media outlets and design blog along side of a supportive team of creative professionals.

Furniture Production Intern
We seek a detail oriented individual who can support our production furniture department and act as a liaison between our showroom’s daily operations by maintaining our sample and swatch program, assist in day to day production needs with our local manufacturing partners. This includes weekly work room visits and drop offs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage in-house sample department
- PDF inquiries. i.e. order status, stock checks and memo requests from license partners
- Request samples from open lines
- Support Outside Sales Associate outreach by mailing samples and memo requests for library updates
- Fill all online sample requests
- Order inventory for showroom samples
- Maintain slat wall on showroom floor, keep self-service drawers full and organized, maintain and remove discontinued items
- Attain email addresses for showroom account list
- Keep sample department neat and organized
- File shipped orders
- Help manage the production schedule
- Assist in tracking furniture through production to meet lead times
- Make local vendor visits to inspect furniture production and distribute parts and materials

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Driver's License and Car required
- Organized and personable with excellent phone and computer skills
- 1+ year experience in the wallcovering or textile industry
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Interior design, product sales experience in a commission environment
- Experience in Sketchup, AutoCAD, Indesign is a plus
