Director of Digital & Ecommerce

The Director of Ecommerce role will work closely with the SVP, Digital & Operations to lead and execute digital business strategy. Responsibilities are the development and optimization of digital & ecommerce operations, site management, merchandising, customer experience and growth marketing. This includes updates and improvements to the existing site, and presenting a unified omnichannel, customer-centric view working closely with Sales, Operations and Finance.
This role is for a Digital professional who is excited to help build and scale a luxury lifestyle brand. We are looking for someone who is goal-oriented, data-driven, and highly entrepreneurial.

DUTIES

  • Lead orchestrated strategy of digital store through merchandising, content, design, marketing, innovation and operations to drive traffic and sales
  • Own and manage P&L of ecommerce business and digital platforms
  • Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Finance and Product to forecast sales, margins, and review financials
  • Monitor and analyze data to for digital business improvement (e.g., Google Analytics, customer surveys, etc.)
  • Lead design, execution and measurement of A/B testing on site
  • Support SVP, Digital & Operations on long-range planning to support growth initiatives and create digital roadmap
  • Ensure efficiency and optimization of daily ecomm operations
  • Manage web developers to execute backend implementation for site updates
  • Manage key vendor partnerships and digital marketing budget, including working with agencies to understand marketing effectiveness by channel and optimizing spend
  • Ensure profitable growth of online sales via paid and organic media
  • Track competitors both luxury and best in class retailers; benchmark KPIs against industry and identify opportunities to take advantage of market demand and developments

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5-8 years experience with B2C e-commerce; leadership experience of an ecomm P&L
  • Extensive knowledge of e-commerce industry and digital marketing best practices
  • Outstanding analytical skills, including A/B testing
  • Entrepreneurial drive; strong project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment

The role will have close collaboration with design, production, sales, marketing and finance teams. Core responsibilities will be to shape functional strategy and work cross functionally to execute.
This role is for a Strategy & Operations professional who is excited to help build and scale a luxury lifestyle brand. We are looking for someone who can thrive in ambiguity and is willing to dig in across all areas of the business.

DUTIES

  • Develop company growth strategy and manage strategic planning processes
  • Analyze operational and financial trends across all functions to help drive growth and efficiency (e.g., marketing, sales, production)
  • Lead special projects across the company that align with brand priorities (e.g., loyalty program, KPI overhaul, assortment rationalization)
  • Drive company priorities forward via cross-functional collaboration; manage initiatives and launches end to end
  • Help build systems to institutionalize knowledge gained

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of experience in high-performance cultures (e.g., consulting, banking or tech/operations/strategy) and/or luxury retail/consumer goods
  • Strong analytics (i.e., Excel)
  • Strong conceptual problem solving

Production Assistant

We are looking for a Production Assistant to join the Kelly Wearstler team. The Production Assistant will work closely with the product development & design teams to meticulously produce luxury, high-end furniture and manage performance to exceed targets in quality, delivery and cost.

DUTIES

  • Support all aspects of furniture planning, scheduling and production, ensuring that luxury brand standards and deliverables are met on time
  • Responsible for specific areas in the production process including QC and staying on top of orders in production
  • Assist with new product development in collaboration with the furniture design team
  • Work with Director of Production to maintain strategic vendor relationships
  • Continually monitor & improve manufacturing efficiency and minimize waste
  • Use KPIs to track process performance and report improvements including cost savings3D modeling and realistic rendering skills would be a plus.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
  • 2-5 years of experience in luxury furniture
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to apply creativity in solving complex problems
  • Passion for design and deep familiarity with luxury lifestyle space
  • Working knowledge of CAD, Rhinoceros and Adobe Suite along with relevant project management tracking tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
