Industrial/Product Designer
Kelly Wearstler is looking for a highly motivated, creative and passionate industrial designer with experience in the luxury product industry. This candidate must have a strong foundation with an elevated sensibility of materiality and design specifically related to concept development and product fabrication. The designer will work closely with the head furniture and lighting designers on various company-wide projects including furniture collections, lighting collections, luxury home objects, custom hospitality designs and one-of-a-kind furniture for residential projects. He/She will be involved in all phases of the design process from initial sketch ideation to creating a working drawing set for manufacturers through the product development phase. This is a full-time designer position with compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.

Duties Include:
- Assist the Directors of Furniture and Lighting in meeting all product development related deadlines.
- Hand sketching for new concepts.
- Creating detailed and thorough orthographic shop drawings for products in AutoCAD
- Utilizing Sketchup, Rhino, Podium and/or Keyshot for 3D renderings of products.
- Coordinate with Interiors department on their furniture and product development related projects.
- Responsible for keeping a detailed production schedule for weekly outside production meetings for both our internal design team and outside vendors.
- Weekly outside vendor visits within Los Angeles assisting the directors in overseeing product development and production.
- Daily vendor correspondence and coordination.
- Assisting production team in following through on client orders and reporting weekly.
- Assist with coordinating logistics pertaining to product development and production.
- Ability to execute quality control inspections with a critical eye.
- Manage and maintain design assets and material library to maximize efficient location and retrieval by KW staff.
- Create Excel and shared google doc spreadsheets for product specifications and market orders.
- Project leadership and present on an as need basis.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in high-end product development.
- Demonstrate expertise in AutoCAD.
- Strong hand-sketching skills.
- Digital 3D modeling capabilities in programs such as SketchUp, Rhino or Autocad 3D. Experience with 3D printing is a plus.
- Strongly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of construction and materiality. Hands on furniture making experience a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of luxury, high-end furniture and product design.
- Portfolio showing experience with innovative designs.
- Highly organized with a strong work ethic, great attitude and excellent communication skills.

Senior Interior Designer
Kelly Wearstler is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with experience in luxury hotels, restaurants and high-end residential projects to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual who is able to lead a strong design team and act in a project management role.

Duties Include:
- This person should be able to collaborate seamlessly with clients, as well as other designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects.
- Responsible for material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelines.
- Creating project documentation including the submission of a full drawing set, specification writing, schedules, and construction administration (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response and consultant coordination).

Desired Skills & Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school.
- Passion for design and an eye for detail.

Intermediate Interior Designer
Kelly Wearstler is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Interior Designer who works well independently and in a fast-paced group setting. The Designer will work seamlessly with the design team in overseeing and managing long-term, high-end residential and hospitality projects from concept through procurement and installation.

Duties Include:
- Sourcing bespoke furniture design, fabrics, lighting, art, and finishes.
- Drawing of custom furniture pieces.
- Creating detailed FF&E Specifications.
- Developing finish, fixtures, equipment, hardware and plumbing schedules.
- Preparing renderings, and graphic layout for client presentations.
- Tracking, ordering, and processing purchase orders and maintaining budgets for multiple vendors and clients.

Kelly Wearstler is looking for a capable, enthusiastic, and thoughtful Junior Designer who takes direction well, and is able to act as a strong support to the design team. The Junior Designer will work in a collaborative environment with Intermediate and Senior designers on high-end residential and hospitality projects from concept through procurement and installation.

Duties Include:
- Researching vendors and maintenance of the material library.
- Preparing hand sketches and computer-generated renderings for internal design review.
- Assisting in the creation of specification packages and custom furniture drawings.
- Order tracking and vendor correspondence for multiple client projects.
- Assisting with the production of construction drawing sets, in coordination with the Senior Interior Designer and Project Architect.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- 6-10 years experience with Interior Design/Architecture education and background
- Extremely well-rounded with strong management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, Strong and Unique design talent.
- Ability to originate concepts, and be the design lead for teams putting numerous projects together.

Outside Sales Associate
Kelly Wearstler is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Outside Sales Associate. The Outside Sales Associate will be responsible for growing revenue within his/her territory and creating the superior experience that clients would expect from Kelly Wearstler. The Sales Associate would bring the experience of the Kelly Wearstler Collections out to the client by setting up appointments and presentations with both contract/hospitality and residential design firms, creating a partnership with our Los Angeles Flagship Gallery in order to drive business in. We are currently looking for Outside Sales Associates in the following territories: West Coast (Los Angeles), and Northeast (New York Metro Area).

Duties include:
- Be an expert on all KW products including how product is made, how it is maintained, assortment offerings, etc.
- Knowledge of the requirements needed in design projects

Duties include:
- Create strong visual identities, graphics, layouts based on the approved brand direction for specific projects. This will include email campaigns, website design and logo design.

Duties include:
- Assist with creating detailed FFE specifications, Sourcing and overseeing bespoke furniture design, fabrics, lighting, art and finishes.
- Creating 2D and 3D rendering proposals and preparing for client presentations.
- Assist with tracking and processing purchase orders for vendors and clients.
- Communicating with vendors, manufacturers, and retailers.
- Assist with finish, appliance, hardware and plumbing schedules.
- Maintenance of material finish library.
