Marine metaphors sophisticatedly punctuate the design, with vintage 1960s italian mohair chairs representing birds on the sand and chrysanthemum root from Hong Kong the Home's elegant "driftwood". A two story, 17-Foot carved ceramic fireplace by local artist Stan bitters commands the living room which like the rest of the house, is layered in warm, honey-colored wood paneling that evokes a sense of being on a classic sailing yacht. |
