Kelly Wearstler Studio is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking marketing leader with strong business acumen to drive brand growth, collaborate with key teams and develop partnerships that elevate our presence in the design and lifestyle space. The Director of Marketing will lead all aspects of marketing, branding and communications while managing external PR teams (domestically and globally) and overseeing the studio’s social and marketing manager. This senior leader will craft and execute strategic initiatives that enhance brand visibility, develop impactful partnerships, and grow the business. The ideal candidate will bring a business-driven mindset, proven experience in high-end design, production and e-commerce, and a strong focus on ROI and financial growth through strategic marketing initiatives and collaborations. This is an on-site position based in our Los Angeles studio.
Duties
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow brand awareness, attract new audiences and drive business growth across all channels.
- Lead outside-the-box initiatives for partnerships, collaborations and marketing campaigns that reflect the studio’s creative DNA.
- Identify new opportunities for brand expansion through innovative marketing strategies and collaborations.
- PR & Communcications Management
- Oversee and manage external PR teams domestically and internationally to ensure alignment with the studio’s messaging and objectives.
- Act as the key point of contact for media outreach, ensuring cohesive storytelling across campaigns and press initiatives.
- Collaborate with PR teams on securing high-profile placements and creating compelling media campaigns.
- Team Leadership
- Oversee and mentor the Social and Marketing Manager, ensuring consistency and innovation across all platforms.
- Provide strategic guidance to the social and marketing department to enhance campaign performance and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to align marketing strategies with business goals and revenue-driving initiatives.
- Substack Oversight
- Oversee the studio’s newly launched Substack, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and voice.
- Drive audience growth through compelling, thought-provoking themes and effective cross-promotional strategies.
- Collaborate on content direction and develop engaging campaigns to increase subscriber engagement and reach.
- Brand & Storytelling
- Elevate the studio’s identity through cohesive, cutting-edge branding and storytelling across all touchpoints.
- Oversee content creation and narratives for marketing campaigns, website updates, collaborations and new product launches.
- Partnerships & Collaborations
- Identify, negotiate and execute strategic partnerships with like-minded brands, organizations and influencers.
- Proactively cultivate collaborations that deliver strong ROI and brand visibility across lifestyle sectors such as fashion, hospitality, art and design.
- Plan and execute events, launches and campaigns that create buzz and resonate with target audiences.
- Global Brand Expansion
- Develop and execute strategies to position the studio as a leader on a global scale, focusing on new markets and untapped opportunities.
- Localize marketing efforts to specific cultural and regional needs while maintaining brand integrity.
- Create flagship campaigns and activations in key global cities to solidify the studio’s international presence.

The Head of Textiles leads the creative, strategic, and operational development of the brand’s textile collections, ensuring designs align with the studio’s vision and market trends. This role oversees the full lifecycle of textile design, from conceptualization to execution, while maintaining quality standards and fostering innovation through new materials, techniques, and sustainable practices. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, supplier management, and market research to deliver diverse collections suited for residential, hospitality, and outdoor applications. Duties
- Creative Leadership
- Oversee the development of new textile designs and ensure alignment with the brand’s vision and identity.
- Research trends, techniques, and materials to innovate and keep the collection relevant and competitive.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., furniture, lighting) to create cohesive design narratives across collections.
- Competitive Research and Market Analysis
- Regularly study competitors’ collections, identifying emerging trends, standout materials, and innovative constructions.

- Sourcing New Fabrics and Techniques

Senior Graphic Designer
Los Angeles, CA
Kelly Wearstler is looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Graphic Designer. The ideal candidate has experience in branding, typography, website, photo/video, and social & marketing design. We are seeking a candidate with overall incredible talent and passion for design. This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Los Angeles studio.
Duties
- Work alongside the Creative team to help define and maintain visual brand identity
- Own and maintain an accurate and current library of brand assets including typography, colors, presentation templates, etc.
- Design and create on-brand digital and print creative including but not limited to emails, social media assets, packaging, stationery, etc.
- Collaborate with Digital Product Manager to design and update UX flow and content on digital channels including website
- Mock-up and resize assets on the website including but not limited to homepages, landing pages and product pages
- Help execute on in-house photoshoots including actively participating in photo and video work
- Manage retouching and color correcting process for all photography (ecommerce shoots, interiors shoots, BTS) and video content editing
- Supply images to internal & external stakeholders in a timely manner
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years
- Prior experience at a creative agency or luxury brand preferred
- A creative portfolio that features typography work and creative branding projects

Interiors & Architecture
Designer

Kelly Wearstler is looking for a very talented Designer with experience in luxury hotels, restaurants and high-end residential projects. As an Architectural Designer you will participate in all project phases and own production of relevant documentation to execute design at a high level. You should be proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, or Revit, have a knowledge of materials, assemblies and best practices for interior details and construction. Experience in construction administration and some history of completed work a plus.
Duties
- Work collaboratively across multiple design projects end-to-end across luxury hospitality, commercial and high-end residential; own specific work streams end to end within each project
- Develop drawing and specification packages, and produce accurate documentation as needed in schematic design, design development, construction documentation phases.
- Coordinate with FF&E and various design teams to produce plans, elevations, and details in order to ensure design intent is incorporated into documentation packages.
- Assist with material selection, produce specifications, and review contractor submittals for conformance to design intent.
- Participate in project coordination, construction administration, site visits, and maintain quality control during construction as needed.

- This person should be able to collaborate seamlessly with the designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects.
- Responsible for supporting the process on material sourcing and specifications, custom furniture design, visual research, mood board creation, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelines.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 1-4 years of experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school.
- Passion for design and an eye for detail.
- Excellent 2D drawing and rendering ability.
