Created in collaboration with Mumbai-based collectible design gallery æquō, the Lahar and Tarang collections explore how material, process, and tradition evolve through heat, time, and the human hand. In Lahar, bronze casting and glass enameling converge across furniture, lighting, and objects, reimagining Wearstler’s signature geometry with depth, weight, and chromatic nuance. Each piece carries subtle variations born from handcraft and fire. Tarang turns to burnt teak, where wood is shaped through charring and carving, its irregularities embraced as essential to the form. Bronze details ground the pieces, balancing rawness with permanence. Developed with master artisans across Mumbai and Alibag, the collection allows material intelligence to lead - honoring centuries-old techniques while extending them into a contemporary design language.
