Designed for Beefbar at L'Apogée Courchevel, the dining rooms draw on a restrained Brutalist language, monolithic volumes, strong silhouettes and a sense of permanence, softened by the intimacy of mountain living. A palette of deep pine, charcoal, burnished ochre and garnet unfolds against near-black stone and brushed local timber. Light is low and atmospheric, designed to glow against the alpine night. Bespoke commissions with French artists and artisans ground the space: sculptural works echo the geology of the surrounding peaks while local craftspeople shaped custom wood paneling, forged metal details and hand-finished surfaces that carry the imprint of the maker.
