The Tarang collection emerges from Kelly Wearstler’s collaboration with Æquo Gallery and its network of Indian master artisans. Sculpted entirely by hand, each piece is carved from teak into fluid, organic forms, then burned to deepen texture and character. Delicate bronze accents trace the wood’s curves, highlighting the interplay between softness and strength. Tarang captures the meeting of modern design and centuries-old craft, where movement, material, and cultural exchange shape a refined yet expressive body of work.

The Tarang Stool is the collection's most elemental gesture, a single, sweeping form that distills wood, fire, and bronze into pure function. Hand-carved teak arches beneath a curved seat, its burnt surface revealing texture and tone shaped by flame. Bronze accents edge the form with warmth and light.
