The Tarang collection emerges from Kelly Wearstler’s collaboration with Æquo Gallery and its network of Indian master artisans. Sculpted entirely by hand, each piece is carved from teak into fluid, organic forms, then burned to deepen texture and character. Delicate bronze accents trace the wood’s curves, highlighting the interplay between softness and strength. Tarang captures the meeting of modern design and centuries-old craft, where movement, material, and cultural exchange shape a refined yet expressive body of work.

The Tarang Chair carries the collection's sculptural language into a form designed for rest. Hand-carved teak, burnt to reveal the depth of its grain, curves into an arched base that cradles a gently contoured seat and low back.
