The Tarang collection emerges from Kelly Wearstler’s collaboration with Æquo Gallery and its network of Indian master artisans. Sculpted entirely by hand, each piece is carved from teak into fluid, organic forms, then burned to deepen texture and character. Delicate bronze accents trace the wood’s curves, highlighting the interplay between softness and strength. Tarang captures the meeting of modern design and centuries-old craft, where movement, material, and cultural exchange shape a refined yet expressive body of work.

The Tarang Bench moves with the fluidity of a wave frozen in wood. Hand-carved from solid teak and burnt to deepen its grain, its sweeping curves arc gracefully beneath a broad seating surface. Delicate bronze elements trace the edges, catching light and accentuating the interplay of dark and gold. A meditation on motion, rendered in stillness.
