lahar console

Created in collaboration with Æquo Gallery, the Lahar collection marks Kelly Wearstler’s first exploration of Indian craftsmanship. Developed with master artisans in India, each piece is built around a monumental cast bronze grid, meticulously inlaid with hundreds of hand-shaped enamel elements. Subtle variations in color, texture, and finish ensure every work is singular. Lahar reflects a dialogue between Los Angeles and Mumbai, where structure, material intensity, and artisanal mastery converge in a bold expression of contemporary design rooted in tradition.

The Lahar Console commands the threshold between furniture and sculpture. Its cast bronze grid structure, inlaid with hundreds of hand-shaped enamel pieces, creates a surface alive with tonal variation and textural depth. Designed to anchor an entry, hallway, or living space, the console transforms any wall into a moment of considered beauty.
