Director of Marketing & Media

Kelly Wearstler Studio is seeking a senior marketing and media leader to oversee all marketing functions and drive the studio's content, narrative, and platform revenue strategy. This is a people management and cross-functional leadership role. You will lead a team of 3–5 and be responsible for the overall marketing direction, editorial voice, and revenue performance across channels.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in luxury, design, or founder-led brand environments, is an exceptional writer and editor, and brings both strategic vision and commercial instincts to the work. You set the direction, build the systems, and ensure the team executes with consistency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 3–5 across social media, content, and creative functions.
- Directly manage the Social Media Manager, collaborating on social strategy and providing direction, feedback, and oversight on execution.
- Work with the E-Commerce Director to ensure alignment across e-commerce, newsletter, social, and sales channels.
- Set overall marketing priorities and ensure the team is aligned and accountable to a unified strategy, including holistic campaign strategy across e-commerce, newsletter, social, and sales.
- Maintain a master marketing calendar across all channels, campaigns, and studio initiatives, coordinating e-commerce, newsletter, social, and sales touchpoints to ensure integrated execution.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between marketing, partnerships, PR, design, and business development.
- Define the studio's overarching content pillars, brand voice, and editorial standards across all channels.
- Lead long-form content, Substack arcs, and campaign messaging in Kelly's voice.
- Develop scripts and outlines for YouTube and video content.
- Review and approve content across channels before publication, ensuring quality and brand alignment.
- Make final calls on pacing, sequencing, and what gets published.
- Own revenue P&L across affiliate programs.
- Set paid amplification strategy across Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok and oversee execution of paid campaigns.
- Track and report on revenue performance by channel monthly.
- Set platform-level growth strategies in collaboration with the Social Media Manager, who owns social-specific tactics and day-to-day execution.
- Drive Substack subscriber growth.
- Identify and activate untapped revenue opportunities across social platforms.
- Own LinkedIn and YouTube strategy as longer-term authority and discoverability channels.
- Partner with the Partnerships Manager to ensure marketing and content support brand partnership execution.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Director on strategic brand positioning and inbound opportunities.
- Coordinate with PR and e-commerce teams on campaign timing, product launches, and press moments.
- Implement AI tools across content creation, analytics, repurposing, and workflow.
- Build scalable systems that increase team output without compromising quality or brand integrity.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in marketing, media, editorial, or brand strategy, ideally in luxury, design, fashion, or lifestyle.
- Proven experience managing a team and owning a marketing function end-to-end.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to work closely in a founder's voice.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort owning a revenue number.
- Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Substack.
- Experience with affiliate platforms such as ShopMy and paid social strategy.
- Strong AI literacy and hands-on experience with AI tools for content, optimization, and workflow.
- Experience in luxury, design, or founder-led brand environments strongly preferred.

Product Designer

Kelly Wearstler is seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer with a multidisciplinary focus, combining expertise in furniture and lighting with fluency across interior design and creative development. The ideal candidate is both conceptual and technical—able to move seamlessly from ideation and sketching to fabrication and vendor coordination. You'll work closely with the Creative Director and multiple design teams to realize exceptional, design-forward products for our global projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Creative Director on concept development, material exploration, and design execution.
- Design and develop furniture, lighting, and custom interior products from initial sketch to production.
- Produce detailed shop drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in Rhino or SketchUp.
- Partner with interiors, product, and marketing teams to ensure design consistency across disciplines.

Senior Project Manager

Duties
- Manage multiple design projects end-to-end across luxury hospitality, commercial and private residential sectors
- Lead design development, drawing and documentation of projects during the design as well as manage the scope, schedule, and budget during construction.
- Act as main point of contact for project coordination with clients, contractors, fabricators, and other stakeholders
- Review and submit project documentation, ensuring design intent, technical accuracy and basic code compliance are met
- Scope and plan project milestones and timelines to meet external deadlines and budgets, ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables
- Collaborate with FF&E and Interiors teams; identify and support professional growth opportunities for team members
