Zuma glassware is mouth-blown from layers of colored and transparent glass. As the glass is blown into a mold, the colored layer stretches and thins, so the color softens into a natural gradient, much like a balloon grows lighter as it inflates. Because every piece is mouth-blown, the thickness of the base and the depth of the gradient vary slightly, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
