She uses it everywhere. On the treadmill, she talks a project through for ten minutes straight. She uses it on flights, and walking through a gallery, asking questions as she goes. Every morning she uses it in the sauna, hands free, words flowing. At bedtime she uses it with her four-year-old son, Crosby. He picks the characters, a caterpillar, a witch’s cauldron, a dinosaur, and they tell the story out loud together. What excites her most is the freedom to be fully present: to explore without interruption and turn creative chaos into something tangible.
