The Rolling Stones

The NUDO collection in collaboration with ARCA is rooted in the juxtaposition of soft shapes and the inherent strength of marble. For the design concept, we drew inspiration from weaving techniques to create designs that embody the various actions of string—consider the intricacies of different kinds of knots, the way rope is woven together, and the fluidity of untangling. This interplay between delicate forms and robust materials fosters a dynamic dialogue within each piece, revealing the beauty of contrast in both design and texture.

Each item is thoughtfully crafted to offer a range of heights, from low seating to elevated surfaces, ensuring versatility and functionality across different spaces. This diversity encourages creative configurations and promotes interaction at various eye levels, allowing each piece to stand out as a distinctive element within any interior.

Unveiled in December 2022 at Miami Art Basel, the collection features a rich color palette inspired by the deep hues. The photographs, taken in Mexico City, capture the collection's bold presence, where the substantial weight and size of the pieces necessitated craning them in from above. Through this process, we aimed to redefine contemporary furniture, inviting a deeper connection between art and everyday life.
